Rom se požali Quarku kako jedini mušterija Klingonac Kozak nema novca da bih platio piće. Quark dolazi do Kozaka i traži novac, a Kozak mu odgovara izvlačenjem noža. Ali Kozak je toliko pijan da pada na svoj nož i umire.

* The working title of this episode was "Fight to the Death".
* Robert O'Reilly makes his first Deep Space Nine appearance as Chancellor Gowron in this episode.
* Stephen Hawking visited the set during the filming of this episode.
* Mary Kay Adams and Joseph Ruskin reprised the roles of Grilka and Tumek respectively in the fifth season episode "Looking for par'Mach in All the Wrong Places".
* One of the reasons the writers wrote Keiko out of the show for 6 months was to give them room to explore the O'Brien/Bashir friendship. (Star Trek: Deep Space Nine Companion) Indeed, this is the first episode where we see O'Brien and Bashir socialize together (technically, we saw them socialize in "The Search, Part II", but that was part of a programmed reality).
* Ronald D. Moore was quite pleased with the finished episode. In an interview with Star Trek Monthly in 1996, he said, "it was fun to go back to the Klingons and do them with a lighter tone and some comedy. But even though we were spoofing them, they were still pure Klingon. It was a fun way to point out some of the more bizarre aspects of the Empire and the way it's run. And the idea of Klingons being confused by Quark's ledgers and accounting practices was, in itself, a funny idea."
* Perhaps unsurprisingly, this is one of Armin Shimerman's favorite episodes; "It meant a lot to me because usually Quark is at the butt of the jokes. But here was a chance to do something, still comedic, but also heroic." (Star Trek: Deep Space Nine Companion)
* Tom Benko, who is credited with the story for this episode, is the only person to have written, directed and edited Star Trek.
* Cirroc Lofton (Jake Sisko) does not appear in this episode.
* Grilka's beaming command while holding the unconscious Quark can be seen as an homage to Star Trek III: The Search for Spock, in which Kirk is holding Spock while speaking the same Klingon command.

Ova mi je epizoda bas bila dobra razbibriga
Klingonac slucajno ubio sam sebe ali quark se poceo hvalit da ga je on sredio sta ga je umijesalo u klingonsku politiku , quarka otima grilka i postavlja ga kao vođu svoje kuce , grilka mi se cinila kao castan klingonac i stvarno na kraju je jos i uspijela stec postovanje prema quarku (rastava im je strasna , tres , tres and spit and you are divorced) , quark je na kraju ispao junacina , kad onako hrabro baca bathlet sa strane i pokusavajuci osramotit protivnika , baca se na pod i poziva na napad , strasan je a na kraju je jos ispalo da je pobjednik jel su kod klingonaca takve egzekucije necasne , bravo za quarka

Osmica , vratio se gowron , dobra je prica

Dobra mi je bila ona scena kada ga Grilka u sjeni pita: Jesi li ti Quark?, a on on odgovori: Ovisi tko pita.

Do sada mi je ovo najbolja Ferengi epizoda (ok, donekle je i klingonska, ali Quark je u njoj imak glavni lik)

Malo smo vidjeli quarka u pozitivnijoj ulozi, nego sto je do sada bio slucaj.... s kombinacijom ferengijskih taktika, slabosti Klingonskog pravnog sustava i klingonskog zgrazanja sto je D'Ghor koristio "ferengijske metode" - je uspio ispasti faca u epizodi

Quark i Grilka su odlican par
Fora je scena kad mu kaze da zato jer joj je drag, da ga nece izmlatiti.

GRILKA (softly): I am very grateful for all you have done, Quark. That's why I'm going to let you take your hand off my thigh instead of shattering every bone in your body.

Na kraju su se poljubili. Eto, moze se svasta reci za Quarka, ali nije bas rasist - upucavao se je i klingonki, i vulkanci, i bajoranki i mnogim drugima

A i ovo je odlican quote:

GRILKA (with contempt): You mean... D'Ghor has been... scheming and ... plotting like a...
Quark: Like a Ferengi.


Ali ipak je najbolji ovaj:

QUARK (to Council): You all want me to pick up that sword and try to fight him, don't you? But I don't have a chance and you know it. You only want me to put up a fight so your precious honor will be satisfied. Well, I'm not going to make it easy for you.Having me fight D'Ghor is nothing more than an execution... so if that's what you want, that's what you're going to get: an execution. No honor, no glory...

Zabavna epka, Quark kao glava klingaške kuće. Zvuči pomalo nevjerojatno... Razvod je brz i manje više bezbolan.
